Passengers

Children between 5 to 12 years old, who are not accompanied by adults, fall into category Unaccompanied Minor or UM for short.

Children up to 5 years old may travel accompanied by brother/sister older than 12 or any other person older than 16.

Obligations of a parent/guardian sending a child to fly alone:

• Signing of a Form for transport of Unaccompanied Minor named "Handling Advise for UM" that regulates terms and conditions for transportation of an unaccompanied minor;
• Provision of all necessary travel documents for a child – passport, visa (if applicable), air ticket;
• Presence at the airport until departure due to possible delay or cancellation of flight;
• To identify in the above mentioned document person (name, address, telephone) meeting child, and ensure that mentioned person is at the airport at scheduled time of aircraft arrival;
• To make sure that child’s baggage does not contain goods being subject to customs duty or items which are not for children’s use or items that are not allowed list of which can be obtained here;

There are separate baby changing (Nursery) facilities at the Belgrade "Nikola Tesla" Airport.

Within premises intended for the youngest passengers and their parents there are playground and area for relaxation of parents, kitchen and bathroom so that parents with small children would have all necessary conditions for change over, bathing and children’s care. One of the premises is located on the upper level of Terminal 2 before customs and passport control and the other is located within restricted area of the airport, after customs and passport control. These facilities are opened from first until last flight (05:30 am until 12:00 pm and non-stop during summertime).

Upon arrival to Belgrade "Nikola Tesla" Airport passenger should proceed with his ticket to passenger check-in counter marked with the airline's sign-board or logo.

It is advisable that such passenger when booking informs his airline of the nature of his/her illness and particular needs and assistance required at the Belgrade "Nikola Tesla" Airport and during the flight so that adequate services could be provided.
